My name is Hugo A. Morán-Chávez, I am from a small town in El Salvador. I am an international scholar at the University of Georgia where I recently earned a Master of Agricultural and Environmental Education. I am an educator, social scientist, and advocate for Latino rights and culture.
This page is for many purposes. First, I want to be a social change agent through photojournalism. I will be posting and sharing articles about a tremendous variety of topics regarding international students in the US to featuring the local community here at the University of Georgia, the state of Georgia, and the US. Second, I am promoting my photography. Third, people who want to share their ideas through photojournalism, I will be featuring them as well as featuring University of Georgia’s students and their research.
